Goals.

Hello. I’m back. I hope I can commit to writing in this blog regularly. Haha.

I stumbled upon a list I made back in 2011. These are the goals I lost sight of over the years. The goals that I didn’t bother or care much to work towards. I hope that I can find my groove again. Putting this out there again. Hopefully, things work out.

  1. Develop relationship with God ❤
    1. Participate in Youth groups?
    2. Bible study sessions?
  2. Spend time with family and friends.
    1. Never ending list of opportunities.
  3. Be the best I can be.
  4. Participate & finish a triathlon.
    1. Train in running.
    2. Relearn and Train in swimming.
    3. Learn and train in biking. :))) Yes, I don’t know how to ride a bike. 😥 =))
  5. Get fit and lose 15 lbs. (boo. I gained back the 5lbs I lost. So sad. Well, not really. It’s a joy to eat kasi.)
    1. Swimsuit-ready body! (dare I say bikini. hahahaha nashy ako bigla.)
    2. Reach my goal weight. 🙂 hihi (Oh I can’t disclose that. A lady never tells. 🙂
  6. Grasp Mandarin. I will. I will. I will. Learning a new language is a joy, a challenging joy. :))
    1. Learn how to write Chinese characters.
    2. Learn how to speak well in Chinese.
    3. Once I grasp the basics of Mandarin, PRACTICE. (Paging: Mandarin speaking friends.)
  7. Get into a good law school. (pleasepleasepleasepleaseplease)
    1. Find a specialization.
      1. International Law?
      2. Intellectual Property
      3. Environmental Law
  8. Develop and maintain self-confidence. And trust in abilities.
  9. Develop cooking & baking skills.
    1. take classes. (Paging Kuya Carlo!)
    2. Cook for my family & friends.
    3. Cook for myself. :)))))
  10. Volunteer somewhere.
    1. Target: Kythe foundation ❤
  11. Travel as much as I can.
    1. USA Trip (January-February 2012)
    2. HK. (2012)
    3. Vietnam (2012)
  12. Learn another language.
    1. Italian
    2. French
    3. Spanish
  13. Get a good job. (one day)
  14. One day, get that dual masters degree in law from the National University of Singapore and NYU.
    1. And from this program, take the NY Bar Exams and PASS. (THIS. I shall accomplish this! No matter how long it takes! No matter what happens!)
    2. A comment: A girl can dream. dreaming is free. So go ahead and dream big. Even if you won’t be able to accomplish this dream, at least you tried. And in that attempt you would have reached something you thought you couldn’t.
I have a feeling, this list will keep on growing. 🙂

Everybody I know is either in or needs to be in therapy. The common theme among them is that they self-sabotage, and I think we all do, it’s just that not all of us have the discipline to address it.
